Bhutan Kanchenjunga Lottery Details
Bhutan is a neighbouring country of India. Lotteries are legal in 13 states in India. Many of these state governments sell their own lottery tickets, and some state governments allow other states to sell lottery tickets in their state. The government of India wants to trade with its neighbouring countries, which leads to the economic development of both countries. So the government of India signed an agreement with the government of Bhutan.
In this agreement, it is said that the Government of Bhutan will sell lottery tickets in India in accordance with the Indian Lottery Act. This agreement also states that if the government of Bhutan does any illegal work with lottery tickets without complying with Indian law, this license will be cancelled at that moment, and action will be taken according to appropriate international law. Some states in India, where lottery games are legal, have not allowed some state governments to sell Bhutan Kanchenjunga lottery tickets. Currently, all the paper lottery tickets sold by the Bhutan government are called Kanchenjunga Lottery and Royal Bhutan State Lotteries.
